OMG BEWBS, b. 1978
Historians have no idea was going on in this sketch. Little is known about the artist except that she did not particularly like the band Train.
I feel like I’m jinxing myself, and now I will probably accidentally hit someone, and insurance will claim it was intentional.

Okapi Wall Street, about 1562
In this unfinished sketch, Womanatee explores the curvaceous African creature okapi. The figure is shown from the rear to highlight its unusual hind markings. Everything about the piece—the language, subject matter, carbon dating—seems to suggest it’s from a later time period than the 16th century. Little is known about the artist except that she often engaged in slant rhymes.

Self-Portrait with Friend in Red Sweater, 2012
ink, colored pencil, digital image
The figures of a majestic sea cow and human in a figure-skating-partner-like embrace are seen gracefully soaring amongst the soft folds of a waving American flag. Created when Womanatee was in her early twenties, this self-portrait conveys an intense struggle with specie identification. Little is known about the artist except that she was really, really ridiculously good-looking.
